In 1991 I heard a song that literally stopped me. I remember driving to class at the Camino Theatre Academy at LACC and hearing something on the radio that blew me away... the sound, the sentiment and the VIBE was amazing! It hit my soul. There was something about the rhythm, the lyric, the drive and THE VOICE. I had to pull over on Vermont Ave and just LISTEN & FEEL this song.  It blew me away. I sat in the car and felt like I was falling into that song. It felt as if it was mirroring my internal self. Something inside recognized this at a visceral level. I sat there in an almost hypnotic state. It MOVED me...
When the song was done, I felt drained and thrilled at the same time. I had to know who this was. This was in the days when the DJ actually told you who the artist was! Lol! That is when I heard the name "Pearl Jam" for the first time... The song was "Black" and it remains my favorites song to this day.
I had liked rock bands in the past (Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Bad Company etc), but something about Pearl Jam resonated with me at a deeper and much more significant level...

All of these things, plus one of the most engaging, passionate and hot lead singers I had ever seen, the amazing Eddie Vedder.. from then on I was hooked.
Rock music inspires me for all these reasons and I know that when I am in the HIGH VIBRATION of Rock music I am being a deliberate creator in my life & I am full of ENERGY, PURPOSE & PASSION! 
I have every album they have ever made and I listen to them all the time, especially when I am in a lower vibration and need to be reminded of all that passion.
